Boremore – Industrial Case Study

Project details

The project was an emergency for Optus Network in the hills of Millingandi, NSW. BoreMore, a leading directional boring company, was hired to drill a 470m long bore to bypass damage to an existing section of cable there. The project was one of the more difficult in the industry’s history, with the bore crossing under two creeks and included a 30 degree turn midway all the while travelling up a hillside. This was all done underground without surfacing.

Lentez was called in to document the result of their work and the difficulty of the project with both aerial photography and aerial video.

The director was so delighted with the work, he is already preparing to contract Lentez for the project he is working on near Taree.
